Jocelyn Lee + Speedwell Projects

For a time, I worked as both a printer/assistant for Jocelyn Lee, an American contemporary artist and photographer, as well as working as a Gallery Assistant for her gallery, Speedwell Projects. In addition to gallery duties, I served as Jocelyn’s large-format gallery printer and photo-editor, as well as design and video editor for projects such as poster design, catalogues, one-sheets, résumés, and a process documentary video piece for Girl Gaze magazine.

Jocelyn Lee—Process Documentary

The most recent piece I made for Jocelyn Lee was this short documentary produced for Girl Gaze magazine’s Instagram Story. Through various series of her work, Lee speaks to her process, style, history, and goals.

Committed to exhibiting the work of uniquely mature emerging artists, Speedwell projects is a not-for-profit, artist-run, think tank and gallery dedicated to supporting artists, particularly focused on creating opportunities for mid and late career artists whose work deserves greater attention.
